Apple Pie

Apple Pie


  • 300g apples
  • 170g shortcrust pastry
  • 1 egg


Peel, core and cube the apples. Add to a saucepan and cook until the apple is tender.

Place the apple mixture into an oven proof dish.

On a lightly dusted work surface roll pastry to approx. 5mm and lay over the apples. Trim any excess pastry and brush with beaten egg.

Bake in an oven at 180c until golden brown.
