Falafel with Roasted Pepper Sauce


  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 400g chickpeas
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1 onion
  • olive oil
  • parsley
  • 220g red pepper
  • 12g flour


Drain chickpeas.

Finely slice the onion and saute until tender.

Add the chickpeas, onion, flour, cumin and parsley into a blender and blend into a smooth consistency. Shape falafel and bake in the oven at 180C for 20 minutes, turning once during cooking.

In a separate oven-proof dish roast the peppers until tender and blend into a sauce.
