Victoria Sponge with Tasty Forest Fruits

Ingredients:

  • 225g self-raising flour
  • 225g butter
  • 140g caster sugar
  • 24ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 180g mixed berries

Method:

​Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Mix the flour, butter, caster sugar and milk together in a bowl.

Place mixture in a loaf tin and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Put mixed berries in a saucepan and gently heat until warm.

Slice the cake and serve with berries.
